Headteacher & Deputy Headteacher Awards
Some children are sent to the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher for a special award. This week, they were given to:
- Olivia E for fantastic reading work and fabulous handwriting
- Macey for excellent art work
- Sofia for excellent art work
It's Good to be Green but it's Great to be Gold!
Pupils who show exceptional behaviour for the majority of the week can be chosen to receive a gold letter. Gold letters have been given to:
- Ehsan for his amazing behaviour all day
- Maison for fantastic sentences in his writing
- Meddi for his fantastic verbal book review
- Daniel M for being extremely helpful during his class library time
- Zara for her excellent behaviour
- Jawad for his kind and caring nature towards his peers
- Maryam A for setting a fantastic example and working hard to learn all of her high frequency words

Parent Governor Vacancy
We have a vacancy for a Parent Governor. Information will be avaiable next week for anyone who is interested in becoming a Governor at Uplands Manor.
Book Bingo!
We hope that children have enjoyed completing the book bingo. The closing date is next Friday 13th December. Please send in the evidence to show us what they have been doing.

Reception online admissions workshop
The next workshop for completing the Reception admission form for your child is on Wednesday 11th December at 9am.
Christmas Jumper Day - Wednesday 18th December
Our Christmas Jumper Day fundraising will be on Wednesday 18th December to coincide with the Christmas dinner. Children can wear a Christmas top or jumper for a donation of 50p. Proceeds will be given to Save the Children.
FOUM Winter Wonderland
FOUM Winter Wonderland will be on Wednesday 18th December at 3.30pm.

Tiny Steps 2 year old Nursery
Tiny Steps Pre-School is rated 'Good' by OFSTED and offers high quality early childcare for two year olds. Thimblemill Library Christmas & New Year events
Thimblemill LIbrary Winter Reading Challenge
This year, Sandwell libraries are encouraging children to take part in the winter challenge. Please take a look at attached information. You will need to register your child online. When you have updated your child's information and the books they have read, it will offer you a code which you can bring to the library for the certificate.
