This funding was given to schools to help support our children in 'catching up' with any gaps in their learning following school closures during the summer term.

How the effect of this expenditure on the educational attainment of our children will be assessed
We carried out a baseline assessment of all of our children at the start of the autumn term in 2020. We used PiRA (Reading) and PUMA (mathematics) tests as well as teacher assessments in phonics and writing.
We will be used these tests throughout the year to measure progress made and as well as diagnostically to identify any remaining gaps in learning that need to be addressed through further support.
