On this page you can find out how we have spent our catch-up curriculum funding during 2020-2021.
This funding was given to schools to help support our children in 'catching up' with any gaps in their learning following school closures during the summer term.
Our catch-up curriculum funding allocation was £66,000 in 2020-2021
Our Catch-Up Curriculum Plan
Our catch-up curriculum plan forms part of our annual strategic improvement plan. Here is our summary document, including costings:
How the effect of this expenditure on the educational attainment of our children will be assessed
We carried out a baseline assessment of all of our children at the start of the autumn term in 2020. We used PiRA (Reading) and PUMA (mathematics) tests as well as teacher assessments in phonics and writing.
We will be used these tests throughout the year to measure progress made and as well as diagnostically to identify any remaining gaps in learning that need to be addressed through further support.
