Parents' Evenings & Book Fayre Tuesday 15th & Thursday 17th March

A letter has been sent out this week via the School Gateway App with the instructions for booking parents' evening appointments. Please make sure that you book your preferred times as soon as possible.
Please ring the school office on 0121 558 1602 if you need help.

April
- Friday 1st April Last day of all extra-curricular clubs
- Tuesday 5th pm 4G & 4S visiting Smethwick Old Church
- Wednesday 6th pm 4F & 4KS visiting Smethwick Old Church
- Monday 11th - Friday 22nd April Easter holiday
- Monday 25th April School reopens to all pupils
- Monday 25th April All extra-curricular clubs start
- Friday 29th April Reception Eye Tests

We believe that it is important to celebrate achievements. As part of our 'Good to be Green' behaviour and reward system, each week, children may be given a certificate, a gold letter from a member of staff or a certificate from Mr Dickinson, Miss Copestake or Miss James.
Each week, children are chosen by teachers to receive awards to celebrate their achievements.
This week, awards have been given to:
- Iqra S for having the belief in herself to write and read CVC words
- Emilia M for having the belief in herself to write and read CVC words
It's Great to be Gold!
Pupils who show exceptional behaviour for the majority of the week can be chosen to receive a gold letter. Gold letters have been given to:
- Mia T for consistently always trying and doing her best
- Aaron I for consistently always trying and doing his best
Headteacher & Deputy Headteacher Awards
Congratulations to the children who have received a Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher award this week. They are:
- Rashu K for the fantastic and informative leaflet she made at home - well done!

Sandwell Shine a Light Festival

The Shine a Light Festival is a full programme of events and activities. These events and activities will take place over six weekends – one in each of Sandwell’s six towns – ending with a 14-day Shine a Light Festival at Sandwell Valley from 25 July to 8 August.
