Welcome to Uplands Manor Primary School’s website. We hope you are able to use the site to find out about our school and how we work together for success. 

We are a large primary school in Sandwell. I have previously been headteacher at three other primary schools and started at Uplands in September 2024. I love serving the school and local community and look forward to working in close partnership with you to ensure that your child fulfils their potential. The school vision and values have been written and agreed by us all, showing how we achieve, believe, create, don’t give up and are enthusiastic about our work at school.  

Our safeguarding ethos permeates the school as we care for the well-being of all our children and the development of the whole child. Pupils feel happy, safe and there are respectful teacher-pupil relationships. We provide high quality pastoral support. Our school governors are visible in school and help offer support and challenge. 

There is a commitment to improving outcomes for pupils by providing a high-quality education. Our curriculum is ambitious and provides pupils with real-life skills. We prioritise reading to support pupils to access the full curriculum and core texts are at the heart of our curriculum work. We provide a range of after-school clubs to continue to develop pupils’ wider skills.
