Autism Acceptance Day
On Monday 27th March, we will be acknowledging Autism Acceptance week. This year's theme is colour. We would love to see children different shades of the same colour or as many colours as they can to represent that we are all different.

to the Uplands Manor girls' football team who played in their first competitive tournament at WBA academy on Wednesday. We didn't get to the finals but the team played brilliantly, with lots of passion, skill and excellent team work! They made us feel very proud!

Year 2 children have been given a letter to bring home today with the list of extra-curricular clubs for after Easter. Please complete the form and return to school by Wednesday 29th March.

Please remember to give your child a water bottle to bring into school each day.

Supported by Dunelm, The Sleep Charity has launched a brand-new Children’s Sleep eBook as part of its ‘Tired of Being Alone’ campaign to support parents and carers who have a child or children that struggle to get good quality sleep. It’s a helpful guide that shows how common sleep issues, that parents are not alone and that help and support is available.

COMMUNITY NEWS
Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Information
If your child receives benefit related free school meals or has an EHCP, are Looked After or have No Recourse to Public Funding you will be issued a HAF code through E-vouchers issued through schools, you can then book 4 sessions for free and will receive a free hot meal.
Easter activities will run from Saturday 1st April to Sunday 16th April 2023 and are open to children aged school age 4-16 years who live or attend school within Sandwell borough. At Easter children can access 4 activity sessions that are happening in each of the towns, right across Sandwell.

The People's Orchestra Animal Concert Saturday 15th April

The People's Orchestra Concert is coming to West Bromwich Town Hall.
There will be a selection of pieces from Carnival of the Animals along with a trip to the world of Kung Fu Panda, Happy Feet, Ratouille and How to Train Your Dragon.
Adult tickets are £10 with a child's ticket for free with every paying adult.
We are hoping it will give children a first step into the world of music with lots of music, storytelling, crafts and a chance to meet the musicians..
