History Mission Statement
At Uplands Manor Primary School, we deliver a high quality History curriculum which helps pupils gain a coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world. Our curriculum inspires children’s curiosity, exciting them about the topics studied and providing them with memorable, hands-on experiences and opportunities. Throughout our coherent curriculum, children are equipped with a range of historical skills and are given the opportunity to delve into the complexity of people’s lives in the past, investigate the process of change, immerse themselves in the diversity of society and the relationships between different groups and can also see their own identity reflected in the curriculum.
