Parents' conduct on the playground

A letter has been sent home with your child with updated times for drop-off and collection and a reminder about the one-way system.  We have received several complaints about a few parents who do not follow the one-way system.   These systems are in place to keep you and your children safe.   We have also received complaints that a few people on playground have been spitting.  This is extremely unhygienic, especially at this time.  Anyone seen spitting will be asked to leave the premises.

Given that airborne transmission is one of the main ways that the virus is known to spread, we strongly encourage everyone who is able to, to wear a face covering when on the school site.  Please support us by wearing a face covering to keep each other as safe as possible.

School Dinners

The new menu starts 9th November (week 3 on the menu) - you can view it here https://bit.ly/38kXQpk

The new menu starts 9th November (week 3 on the menu) - you can view it here https://bit.ly/38kXQpk.    It is important that parents pay for school dinners in advance - there is currently a total debt in excess of £2,000.  School cannot afford to pay for this as it then impacts on the resources available for all pupils.  You wouldn't turn up to a shop or a restaurant and have a meal but not pay for it - the same applies to school.  It is unfair that some parents are expecting school to cover these costs.  If you cannot pay for school dinners and are not entitled to free school meals then you should send sandwiches in instead.

Weekly statements are sent out to parents and we always do our best to support families in difficulty - but you must communicate and work with us. Please contact Sarah Clarke in the school office to arrange payment terms if you are experiencing any difficulties.  Any parents with an outstanding debt must provide a packed lunch for their child until the debt is paid unless payment terms are agreed.  Thank you for your understanding and support with this.
