Behaviour at Uplands Manor
Dear Parents & Carers
We have been working extremely hard on behaviour at Uplands Manor over the past year. We have high expectations for all our children and know that behaviour has significantly improved across the school in this time. This was acknowledged during our recent OFSTED inspection where the inspectors fed back the following comments;
We pride ourselves on ensuring we set high standards for behaviour at Uplands Manor and have worked extremely hard as a whole school on this. Lots of things have been put in place to educate & support the children to make the right choices.
We thank you for your continued support with this.
Miss James
Deputy Head Teacher
Parents' Evenings - Tuesday 17th and Thursday 19th March 3.40 - 6pm
Over 380 children still haven't got a parents' evening appointment booked. It is very important that you book an appointment so your teacher can share the progress of your child in school and discuss any concerns.
You can also visit: https://uplandsmanor.parentseveningsystem.co.uk
Please do not go to the Receptionists to book. If you are having difficulties with the online booking system, please come to one of our drop-in sessions where we can help you. The next session will be held on Wednesday 11th March at 9.00am.
Test your reading strength with the Scholastic Books reading challenge
Test Your Reading by completing the Scholastic Books' Strength-O-Meter where you can record the four books you've read to complete the Author Challenge. Send in the completed challenge into school for Mrs Bavington so she can send them to Scholastic Books. They will then select twenty winners from all the entries across the country. The winning school will receive a free author visit in Autumn 2020!
See Mrs Bavington for more information.
