Each week, children are chosen by teachers to receive awards to celebrate their achievements.

This week, awards have been given to:

  • Mahiba F for writing an excellent non-chronological report about our school
  • Renad B for improving her presentation
  • Ehshan M for great phonics work
  • Kilo K for showing amazing attitude to the alien art project
  • Charlie W for showing amazing attitude to the alien art project

Safer Internet Day 2022

Safer Internet Day 2022 will take place in school next week through assemblies and activities in the classroom.

The theme is 'All fun and games? Exploring respect and relationships online.'

Here are some ideas and information of how you can help your child stay safe and use technology responsibly and respectfully.

Free School Meals

Sandwell Local Authority are funding vouchers for those entitled to income based free school meals in February Half Term. If you think that you may be eligible please go to:

https://www.sandwell.gov.uk/info/200151/education_benefits/2176/free_school_meals.

If your child is in Reception – Year 2 and receives universal free school meals, this does not automatically entitle them to a voucher – they are issued to those in receipt of income based free school meals only. If you earn less than £16,190 per annum or are in receipt of benefits (Not Working tax credits) then you may be entitled to income based free school meals and should apply online.

For further details follow the link or contact the school office and ask for Mrs Clarke.

Safety information for packed lunches in school

If your child has a packed lunch and likes chocolate spread in their sandwich, please make sure you do not give them Nutella or any similar spread containing nuts.  We have a number of people in school with nut allergies.
