The website, Twitter and Facebook are the best way of keeping up to date with school news and dates. Remember to check regularly for upcoming events and pass the information on to other parents that you know.

  

Letters sent home this week

Each week, a list of the letters you should have received will be listed here.  If you haven't received a letter on the list, please speak to a member of staff in your child's year group.

Homework Review

Thank you to the 62 families who have completed and returned the Homework Review survey.  However, we have 604 families in school.  In order for us to be able to conduct a proper review of homework, we need lots more surveys returned.  Please send yours in as soon as possible as the cut-off date will be Friday 6th December.  If you need another copy, please ask the Receptionists.

  

Reminder: Black Shoes

Please can you make sure your child is wearing black shoes to school every day.  A number of children have started coming in white or coloured trainers or black boots.  Boots can be worn to travel to school or for breaktimes but black shoes must be changed into and worn in school.  Coloured traininers should not be worn at any time.  Thank you for your support in maintaining this high standard.

  

Headteacher & Deputy Headteacher Awards

Some children are sent to the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher for a special award.  This week, they were given to:

  • Hafsa for excellent writing about dinosaurs
  • Manraj for excellent writing about dinosaurs
  • Marwa for excellent writing about dinosaurs
  • Chris for excellent writing about dinosaurs

           

It's Good to be Green but it's Great to be Gold!

Pupils who show exceptional behaviour for the majority of the week can be chosen to receive a gold letter.  Gold letters have been given to:

  • Mario for good behaviour this week

  

Weekly Attendance

The highest attending classes during last week were: 

Manor 92.8%, RMB 96.1%, 1W 97.2%, 2B 99%, 3G 98.7%, 4D/4B 94.1%, 5C 100%!!!!, 6RT 95.8%

The Sun Newspaper's Books for Schools Tokens

The Sun Newspaper have book tokens inside their newspaper from now until early February for schools to collect to exchange for reading books.  Please send in your tokens so we can have more books in school for the children to enjoy.

  

Another star in the making!

Another of our talented children, Sasha, will be performing in the West End production of Trouble's a Brewin'.  We hope you have a wonderful time and look forward to hearing all about it.
